Tokyo Metropolitan Festival has been instated as an urban multidisciplinary arts festival in an effort to reach out to the greater world through Tokyo's profound and diverse arts culture. A performing arts festival will be held in the Ikebukuro area of Toshima city in the autumn of 2016, ushering in a provocative site of cultural participation and exchange.
